With a small workshop in both Competa and Witney, Oxfordshire, Tudor Nicholas has hand crafted sterling silver for over ten years whilst concluding , and following , a long career in education in the UK. Since coming to live part time in Competa five years ago, with water colourist wife Jacqueline, his original and admired designs, drawn from natural organic forms, have proved popular, both here and in the UK.

Con dos pequeños talleres uno en Competa y otro en Witney, Oxfordshire, Nicholas Tudor es un artesano de la plata durante mas de diez años que compagina su trabajo en la enseñanza con la orfebrería y termina su trabajo con el magisterio en el Reino Unido. Se viene hace cinco años a vivir parte del tiempo a Competa con su esposa Jacquelin pintora de acuarelas, sus originales y admirados diseños, son extraídos de formas orgánicas naturales, siendo muy populares tanto aquí como en el Reino Unido.

Being individually hand crafted, no two of his pieces are the same, and not unlike miniature sculptures in themselves , each has a character of their own. Sterling Silver is a versatile, attractive and still relatively economical material with which to work, the range of forms he produces reflects this , and he is fastidious in attention to detail and in ensuring a high quanlity of finish to each piece, whilst retaining it’s individuality.

Estando hechas a mano, ninguna de sus piezas son iguales y son en si mismas como esculturas en miniatura, cada una tiene su propio carácter. La plata es un material versátil, atractivo y aún relativamente económico con el cual trabajar, la gama de formas que se pueden hacer refleja esto, con mucha atención al detalle para poder asegurar un alto nivel de calidad en el acabado de cada pieza, mientras que mantiene su única individualidad.
