I am an Finnish artist who lives in Sayalonga. I have made many kind of things (oil paintings, postcards, paper sculpture, and masks from plants), but in last 15 years mostly black and white photographs. I have had exhibitions around Finland and one also in Russia.... When I moved here to Sayalonga (five years ago) I had to give up my studio and the dark room and start to make digital photos. That was hard to me, because I liked a lot that old system. Slowly, slowly I have got to know the digital world and finally I start to feel more like home in there. Now I also make color photos and some hardly manipulated prints, but still mostly I like black and white ones.
