Heide Dorsch has been painting with oil colors for more than 30 years. Over the last years Heide has developed a unique painting style, working only with thick oil colors and spatulas. Due to the use of these tools the painting process includes random effects, which cannot be reversed. There is only "right" or "wrong", which leads to highly vivid and dynamic paintings. The topics are local landscapes or still lives, depicted in an abstract style. However the artist knows how to capture the characteristics of faces in impressionistic portraits. |
