CómpetaArt.com held it's first Art Walkabout this Easter weekend, March 22 and 23 and from all prospectives, it was a GREAT WEEK END. We had over 500 people from all over walking around to view the fascinating variety of works produced by its member artists and craftspeople in their homes, studios, workshops and other venues. The artist and craftsperson's received a warm welcome from all the visitors and the visitors had a great weekend to enjoy Còmpeta, the Samana Santa processions and lot of great art work.
With such a fun time, we will surely make this an annual event so watch the site for information next year.

CómpetaArt.com tuvo su primera GIRA del arte el fin de semana de Pascua, 22 y
23 de marzo y fue un GRAN FIN DE SEMANA. Vinieron a
la Gira mas de 500 personas y vieron la fascinante
variedad de trabajos hechos por sus artistas y artesanos en sus propios
talleres, casas y otros lugares. Los artistas y los artesanos dieron una
cálida bienvenida a todos. Fue un gran fin de semana. Los visitantes pudieron
disfrutar de Competa y de la Gira del ARTE así como de las precesiones de
Semana Santa Vimos con gran alegría el buen recibimiento de este evento , seguramente haremos de la GIRA del ARTE un acontecimiento anual así que mirar el sitio para ver mas información el próximo año. Tuvimos muchos comentarios sobre el arte y la GIRA pero quisiéramos oír más. Por favor email a nosotros con el algún comentario sobre la Gira de este año y sugerencias para el próximo. |
